“There's nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the surface of the ocean itself, except that when you finally see what goes on underwater, you realize that you've been missing the whole point of the ocean.
Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside of the tent.” - Dave Berry People are like the ocean; full of mystery in their own ways. I find people to be interesting. We all hold our own individual value. Never forget your worth.
Even if others choose to only see the surface of your ocean and only walk across the shoreline.
Wait for those who wish to explore and dive deep into the dark blue depths of your soul and mind.
The layers of one’s mind.
Go a little deeper.
Find yourself again.
We all are here for a reason.
We are all humans roaming around this earth with a watch on our wrist telling us time is running out.
Live now while we have the opportunity.
Laugh more often.
Be there for others when they fall.
Choose happiness over depression & anxiety.
In today’s world I see chaos and everyone running around trying to pay off their debts because we like the materialist ideas other people put in our heads.
None of it really matters anyways.
I mean, who are we trying to impress?
What matters is love shown.
Forgiveness given freely. Friendliness.
Compassion and dreams of a better future!
It takes #heart
Giving until there is nothing left; I’ll give.
The world needs givers.
Vow to make a difference.
Whether it be day-to-day, or once in a blue moon!

“When I die I may not go to Heaven, but Texas is as close as I’ve been.”
Last year, I took a trip with my youngest brother to see my family for Christmas in Mississippi. It was a cloudy day and on our way into town, we stopped by our old house in Palestine TX to reminisce on the memories we had in that town. Driving around, we spoke about the old times and how it use to be. Leaving out and returning back to our roadtrip, I came across an old house that had been through a fire & I just had to stop and check it out. The fire left the place a mess and there were items scattered all over the property from old dishes and teacups to kids toys and other miscellaneous items. It seemed to have ran them out very quickly. What once resided as a beautiful cozy home for a family now lay in ruins. I took a moment to take it all in. Something about how everything was broken, shattered and out of place drew me in. See, we live our lives in such stress and anxiety, that we forget the materialist things will never matter in a state of emergency. Obviously, the plan was to escape the fire no matter the items left behind. We collect items that mean something and we hang pictures on our walls to decorate and garnish our life. In a state of emergency, we drop everything material and run for our lives. Nothing matters except life itself and having those you love alive and safe. When we work so hard to buy the things we want, it could all go to flames and we would have no choice but to run for our lives. Leaving every item to be consumed. Let us focus less on gaining materialist items that we buy for happiness, and focus on real relationships and time with the ones we love. When things go up in flames, hold tight to the ones you care for. Let go of all materialistic hesitations you may have because they will not save you in the fire. When we die, we will not take our money or houses, we will leave it all behind for the earth to consume. Let us be grateful and remember the lives that we have to inspire and the opportunity to make the lives of others better because of your efforts to change the world to a more positive state of mind & deeper connection to our subconscious needs. Live your best life now! Don’t wait until you have everything you want to be happy, be happy today in this moment! Think about the present, as the future will never come. We will always be stuck in this present world. So do what makes you happy & spread happiness to those around you. Live everyday as if it were your last!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019!
Today is the first day of the new year. Looking back on last year, I feel I grew up a little more with learning and experiencing new things. I feel like I got a more broad sense of what humanity is and how the world we live in today really is vs. what we choose to see and not see. I see now that time can only heal some wounds alongside medications and various treatments. I appreciate the smallest of things and it gets stronger with the years. I see how I grew up & how it molded me into what I have become. We all can relate in some way or another. We are all beautiful in our own way. What may not seem perfect to one may be so imperfectly perfect to another & that’s how life goes. It goes on. There is never enough time to spend with the people you have a deeper connection with. We all have to return to our homes but in those moments as we talk amongst one another let us make sure to only talk good of one another & lift one another up. Pick up your friends when you know they need you. Make the call you know you don’t really want to make right now & keep putting it off. Do the things that make you genuinely happy. No that doesn’t mean doughnuts make you happy. It means focusing on the energy your body needs to fulfill its purpose in this life & to do it with a subconscious mindset. I hope to keep learning and growing. I wish to keep pushing the boundaries of imagination & creativity. To think of myself as my own hero in today’s world of craziness. I am here to show others that anything is possible if you just believe in yourself. Nothing can keep you from what you want in this life except yourself. Don’t hold yourself back from what is yours to claim. Claim your victory and march with confidence as if you already won the battle! Dance! Leap for joy! Happy New Year!

• Be the person you want to meet!
“The principal habit that you should develop is learning to show the love that you feel for those around you. Most people won’t remember what you said to them, but they’ll never forget how you made them feel. Show your love by guiding, supporting, and being there for the people you love.”
• With the way the world is turning nowadays, whether you are older or still in your youth, we must change our ways. We must do for others & show them love that is genuine/ unconditional. Love is not a like button on social media or the hearts you send as a notification. Love is calling, catching up, taking the time out of your busy day to reach out to others. There’s plenty of fake love to be soaked up with no nutritional value. You will become sick & deprived if this is your meal. Seek wisdom & education. Don’t let your phone take you out of the reality we are in presently. Be present. Practice Zen. We are told that time is running out and we must hurry hurry before we miss out. But I say, slow down. Take the time you have today to show some love. You never know who needs your smile. You never know what people are going through. In just a few words you can change a negative thought which can cause a ripple effect of #generosity. I’ve witnessed many things in life, & I do believe in love and that it can heal all things. We are nothing but human souls walking around connecting with one another. But for what reason? To find our love/passions? Let us be reminded of our purpose and make a habit to be in love with every moment while we are here & those we get to share our life with.
